Stephen Hendrie goes on loan to Blackburn
I saw this on the BBC football transfers section on their website.

Looks to me like his WHU career is a non starter. Who covers Creswell?

He played infront of a mate of mine who plays for Southend and said he was very assured and great going forward as he was at defending. Think he has good potential to be a challenge for Cresswell at some point.

Going to Blackburn will do him well and hopefully when he returns he takes his chance if it arises.

I'm pretty sure they assessed him last season Alex, obviously Bilic thinks he'll benefit more from a year out and hopefully playing more regularly than U21's which he does not think is a good basis for promotion to the 1st team, hence Burke, Cullen, Samuelsen all away last year and they tried to get Oxford out too.

On the LB situation don't think Page is anywhere near ready for first team squad yet. Done well at Cambridge for 2 months but that would be a huge step.

I'd be very surprised if we didn't sign an experienced LB, given we where interested in Mendy from Marseille and Bedimo from Lyon.

Hope it goes well for him. A pity that a young player goes on a season loan even before any pre-season assessment.

Vashon Neufville is only 16 years old.

I still reckon Bilic will bring in two full backs,or one who can play either left or right.

Lewis Page and Vashon two very good left backs

It's alright. Cresswell doesn't do injured.

Bilic must be bringing someone in as we can't expect Cresswell to a. remain injury free like last season or b. play in all pl and Europa games.

Lewis Page is pretty good but he's only just turned 20.

Any youth team players coming through in that position?
